The main implementation is due to complete at the end of 2017. Delivery of devolved administration for telephone coordinators should be in place by Christmas and the advanced unified communication project should deliver early in 2018.
Work has now started on decommissioning the old telephony systems; the analogue PBX system (DX) and the Cisco VoIP system (Cisco). Telephone numbers remaining on old telephony systems will cease to operate when those systems are decommissioned. Therefore, any numbers that need retaining should be switched to Chorus ahead of the old telephony systems being shut down.
