Overnight on Tuesday 20th February, the Nexus365 project successfully migrated 814 IT Services email accounts to the cloud-hosted Nexus365* service. A small number of issues were experienced by users trying to access their emails on Wednesday but these were largely quickly resolved through availability of support staff on-site, the Service Desk and online materials.
The project team is already analysing anecdotal feedback about the process and the communication and support model. Further detailed analysis will take place after results are received from the post pilot survey. This will enable us to fine-tune how we manage the rollout of Nexus365 to the collegiate University starting in April 2018.
*Nexus365 is the University's offering of the cloud-hosted Office 365 service.
