How to stop automatic email forwarding

If you are automatically forwarding your University emails to an external account you need to disable automatic email forwarding before 31 July 2023, otherwise it will be automatically switched off on 1 August


You can set, update or view your email forwarding setting on the Self-Registration website:

  1. Select the mailbox that you want to change the settings for
  2. Select "Email forwarding address settings"
  3. Click "Submit"
  4. Delete all external email addresses (ie. any not ending with from the Set forwarding address(es) box.  You can forward to a single internal email address if you want to by inserting just one internal address (ie. one ending in in the box.  Otherwise, leave it blank
  5. Click "Submit"
