MyOxford student app now live for students
The new MyOxford student app, giving quick access to key systems and services, is now available to all on-course students with a Single Sign-On (SSO)

MyOxford provides quick access to essential University systems and services, acting as a digital companion to student life. Students can use the app on Apple or Android devices, or via a web browser, and access it using their Single Sign-On (SSO).
Following a successful pilot run in Trinity term 2024, the project team refined and made additions to the system based on the student and staff feedback over the summer vacation. The product will continue to be developed iteratively and will be releasing enhanced functionality regularly. The project team is also exploring ways to expand it to other user groups, including staff.
About the Oxford University student app
The MyOxford University student app is a cloud-based platform that aims to provide a simplified way for students to access their systems and key information that they require to digitally navigate Oxford. We hope that this will be a key resource that enhances the student experience and is valued and used throughout their time at Oxford.
MyOxford has been made possible through the Digital Transformation programme.
How students can use the app
Students can download the app or access it via a web browser. Once logged in, they should be able to view the main University dashboard and open their college dashboard (if they are affiliated to a specific college). Important University and college updates will be made available through a News dashboard.
How staff can support the MyOxford app
We would like as many students as possible to learn about MyOxford and would very much appreciate your support in encouraging them to use the app and share feedback.
Currently, MyOxford is primarily designed as a resource for students, which means that access to its contents is restricted for most staff members. Only staff that are using MyOxford features, such as the college newsroom, are being given access so if staff try and log into the app, they will get an error message.
We are planning to make MyOxford available to staff during Michaelmas term.
Communications pack
A communications pack (requires SSO) is available to help promote the app on student-facing channels. It includes: newsletter copy, digital screens, social media suggested posts, promo banners, digital screens, explainer videos, and more.
