University of Oxford eDocuments service

The eDocuments service has been delivered as a collaboration between the Degree Conferrals Office (DCO) and IT Services.  This service means that students and alumni view their degree certificates, academic transcripts, diploma supplements and degree confirmation letters online. They can also allow third parties, such as universities, employers and authorised government agencies (including those issuing visas) to verify their degree status through this secure system.

They will continue to receive a paper certificate at their degree conferral, but otherwise all documentation is electronic.

Students and alumni pay a one-off fee (currently £15) to use the service. The eDocuments service is quicker, more convenient and, in most cases, cheaper than the previous process, where students and alumni had to pay for each re-print of a document, plus courier or postage fees.
