The change to Oxmail was implemented on the 23rd January and 25th January 2024 for Nexus 365 domains.

Google's changes go into effect on 1 February 2024.

 

No. These changes will happen automatically. 

At the time of writing, we don't believe any changes to existing SPF records should be needed for 1 February 2024. 

You don't think they need to take any action at this stage. Though in the longer term there are potential issues with the complexity of SPF records; it would be helpful to determine whether you use DARS.

You will likely need one or more entries in the University DNS but it will be down to the supplier, Access Group, to advise on what is required.

Anything sent via smtp.ox.ac.uk with a From: address within ox.ac.uk should be DKIM signed. 

Provided From: addresses are within ox.ac.uk, they shouldn't need to make any changes themselves.

Accessplanit uses smtp.ox.ac.uk to send emails, so no further action required on his part.
